Sometimes you need a sympathy card in your stash - unfortunately a fact of life.
The bleaching technique is an oldie but a goodie. It's a bit like magic as each cardstock bleaches a different colour. So it appears that crumb cake cardstock bleaches to so saffron. I've toned that down a little by sponging with white craft ink and then glamming it up with wink of stella.
I embossed with the new black shimmer emboss powder first as it makes it much easier to stay inside the lines when 'painting' with the bleach. You must use the embossing buddy to make sure you only have emboss powder where you want it.
I think the ribbon and black rhinestones I used here was from last year's holiday catalogue.
