Saturday Challenge

After having a long talk with a friend, I'm going to start a Saturday class for card crafters who would like something a little more challenging. The first one will be on Saturday 24 March at my home and the first six people to book a place at my table will have a great afternoon (I hope!!).

1.30pm $25.00 - and you get to take home 3 projects.

The card pictured uses a technique we were taught last weekend at Stamp Camp called Joseph's Coat and will be one of the projects.

Birthday Cake

I think I'm going to enjoy this stamp set which includes cakes, florals and sentiments - what more can a girl ask for!

 The DSP in this suite is lovely too - thick paper with foil on one side and patterns on the reverse.

This is just one example with a blue pattern on the other side.

Hope your day is one of a kind

This is the second card at classes this week - another one with children's birthdays in mind.  This was case'd from the Occasions catalogue with a few changes.  I do love colouring with the Stampin' Blends as they do what it says 'on the tin' - blending beautifully.

We Must Celebrate

We had fun playing with the new Stampin' Up Blends this week - it always goes quiet when the girls are colouring in or fussy cutting!  I don't know why we haven't used the black rhinestones much yet 'cos they are really pretty and the ticket tear border punch gives a bit of interest and contrast.
