NEEDLEPOINT NOOK ARROW

This arrow card looks more complicated than it really is and is something a little different.  I really enjoy making fancy fold cards - nutting out the 'how to' is satisfying.
Find the centre of the card along the bottom edge and mark with a pencil, measure up the sides and mark at 5cm (2") and 10cm (4") and then score from the centre bottom up to the 5cm and from centre bottom up to the 10cm.  Fold the 10cm score mountain fold and the 5cm score valley fold.  You do need to adhere these folds so that the arrow sits nice.

This card only requires one 10cm x 14cm piece of DSP which has been cut from bottom centre up to top left and right corners.  I then adhered the large triangle on the front and the two smaller triangles on the inside on the white cardstock which is also 10 x 14.  I then stamped the happiest birthday from Needle & Thread stamp set as far down as I could.

I did use a few retired items - the candy dots (I want SU to bring them back!!!!), the ribbon and the 1 3/8 circle punch.  The DSP, Floral Frames,  Needle & Thread stamp sets and the Big Shot are retiring as well.

Remember, a handcrafted card is like sending a hug with a fold in the middle!
