I've set myself the task of using one of the new Christmas stamp sets in the latest Stampin' Up catalogue - making one Christmas card and one non-Christmas card - this baby card is the result.
I did the ombre technique on a scrap of whisper white cardstock using so saffron, daffodil delight and crushed curry inks. The new InColour ink bumblebee could have been used instead of crushed curry but I didn't have it at the time. The largest joy die from the Peace & Joy Bundle was then used to cut the background, daffodil delight to cut out the middle-sized joy and whisper white for the 'skinniest' joy. Goldilocks, three bears and porridge keep springing to mind when explaining these dies to my class attendees!
Going through all my stamp sets to find something suitable for a baby card, I found a couple of sentiments from sunshine sayings. One used here, was 'is on its way' and the other I could have used was 'bundle of'.
