This was the card the ladies made at Summerset this morning - as usual when colouring in or fussy cutting, everything goes quiet - it's very relaxing for them and me.  I'm really loving the new Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and it looks pretty good with one of the old cardstock colours - Rich Razzleberry.  I diecut a circle in the Sweet Sugarplum, put the Whisper White cardstock behind the circle and marked the circle very lightly with a pencil.  The fig image was then stamped onto the white cardstock, coloured in and then glued to the back of the Sweet Sugarplum.  I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry at the bottom of the cardstock and attached the white ribbon before gluing to the card base.

The new annual catalogue just launched and I can finally play with all of the new products. Yay! One of the first products that caught my eye was the Letters for You Bundle. When I think of what projects to make with alphabet sets, my mind often go to memory making. But the Letters for You Stamp Set and Large Letters Framelits Dies offer so much more—the large letters are perfect for making fun shaker cards or a striking monogram on a card or notebook.
These are very versatile products and you’ll save 10 percent when you buy them in a bundle. I also want to let you know about the coordinating Number of Years Stamp Set and Large Numbers Framelits. So many possibilities!

IT'S HERE

So exciting...the new 2016-17 Stampin' Up! Catalogue is officially ready for you to shop from!   I can honestly say that this is the best Annual Catalogue yet.  They just keep getting better and better.  With all kinds of things to choose from, your shopping list will be long (you might need to print two of them...just sayin').  Bundles are back too - woohoo!  They are everyone's favorite way to enjoy savings when you purchase selected bundles of stamps and coordinating product.

I watched a stamp set showcase with Glenda Travelstead and Dawn Griffith today and although it is a little long, these two ladies do a wonderful presentation of two new stamp sets in the new catalogue.  So CLICK HERE

Gift from the Garden

1464816829833_528274513
I've had this stamp set for a while and was very happy to see it still in the new annual catalogue.

1. Make up the mini treat bag using the DSP and the mini treat bag thinlits.
2. Cut A4 sheer of wiserial wonder cardstock in half down the length and fold in half.
3. Measure down 3cm from the top of front and back (remember that the fold should be at the bottom) and decorate as you want. I have used one of the long thinlits to create the holes.
4. Measure in .5cm along the bottom (fold) on both sides and mark. Cut up from these marks to the scoreline to create a slight taper.
5. Fold over flaps at the top and glue down. Glue the sides of pouch but only down about half way - if you glue all the way down the sides you will not be able to fit the mini treat bag inside.
6. Glue the saved piece of DSP to front of pouch.
7. Ink up the stamp using markers and stamp onto whisper white cardstock. Glue this to wisteria wonder cardstock and glue to pouch front with dimensionals.
8. Wrap bakers twine twice around pouch and finish with a bow.
9. Stamp sentiment with so saffron ink and punch out with washi label punch.
