PURPLE POSY CHRISTMAS

I thought I was more of a vibrant colour girl but have fallen in love with the purple posy colour.  It's soft and pairs beautifully with crumb cake.  

I've used the Feels Like Frost DSP, the one with the pinky, bluey out of focus image to diecut the swirly stars.  To give the DSP a bit more strength I first glued it to whisper white cardstock before diecutting.

Inside has been stamped with purple posy ink and a couple of stars attached in the corner.  My purple posy ink still seems to be OK so I'm trying to get the most out of it while I can but unfortunately Stampin' Up will not stock it any longer because of continuing issues with quality.

BLUE BUTTERFLIES

I still like Beauty Abounds stamp set and coordinating dies, then though it can be a little fiddly to glue the two diecuts together.  And the impact of the butterflies when you open the card is great!!

It was very easy to create a rectangle using the vellum.  Adhered one short side to the bottom of the card making sure that it lined up with the middle scoreline and then adhering the long side to the top of the card.  The butterflies are only attached to the other long side of the vellem and lie flat when the card is closed.
